A hand-fan that holds three days and three nights in a single sweep; the sun, the moon, and the quiet stars between them, drawn by hand in the soft, childlike colours of a half-remembered dream.

Inspiration

3 Días y 3 Noches began as a small wondering: what if you could carry a whole sky in your hand? Its face is painted with suns, moons, and scattered stars in gentle pastel tones — the palette of early mornings and late, unhurried evenings. Like all objects of sofia, it takes an old, unchanging form and returns it to everyday ritual, so that something celestial might travel with you through an ordinary day.

Know How

Each fan is made by hand by Spanish families who have folded fans for generations. The [wood] sticks are cut and shaped by hand, the [cotton] leaf hand-pleated and assembled to the frame with care. Because every piece is made slowly and by hand, small natural variations in colour and finish are part of its character — the quiet proof that a real person made it.
